A
Adaptors
Your room has British plug sockets and USB C sockets provided. Should you need an adaptor please contact reception. The voltage is 230V. If you are travelling from a country with 110V like US or Canada, you may need a voltage converter.
Air Conditioning
Our hotel is equipped with a central air conditioning and heating system. You can adjust the temperature from the control panel in your room.
If you are staying in the main building, simply press the On/Off button to power up the system. Then use the arrows to select your preferred temperature. Should you wish to change the mode (Cool, Heat, Fan, etc.), please contact Reception and we will be happy to assist.
If you are staying in the annex building, press the On/Off button to switch the system on. Below the screen you will see four buttons: the first button (from the left) changes the mode, the second button lowers the temperature (–), the third button raises the temperature (+), and the fourth button controls the fan speed.
We hope you enjoy a perfectly comfortable stay. If you need assistance or prefer us to adjust it for you, please contact Reception.
Airports
We can arrange a private car to any of London’s main airports. We recommend arriving at the airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure. For pricing and bookings, please contact Reception.

London City Airport Around 40–55 minutes by taxi, or approximately 50 minutes via Piccadilly Line from Russell Square (4 minute walk) to Holborn, Central Line to Bank, then DLR to London City Airport.
Gatwick Airport Around 70–90 minutes by taxi, or approximately 50–60 minutes via Thameslink train from St Pancras International (10 min walk from the hotel).
Heathrow Airport Around 45–60 minutes by taxi, or approximately 55 minutes via Piccadilly Line direct from Russell Square Station (4 min walk).
Luton Airport Around 60–80 minutes by taxi, or approximately 50–60 minutes via Thameslink train from St Pancras International (10 min walk from the hotel) plus Luton DART shuttle (5 min).
Stansted Airport Around 75–95 minutes by taxi, or approximately 65–75 minutes via Stansted Express from Liverpool Street Station (Piccadilly Line from Russell Square to Holborn, then Central Line to Liverpool Street).

The nearest ATMs are located at Russell Square Underground Station, Bernard Street, WC1N 1LJ (approx. 3 minutes’ walk from the hotel). Operating 24/7.

Baby Facilities
Most of our rooms are compact, however if you require a Baby Cot, please contact Reception.
Breakfast
A complimentary Cooked and Continental Breakfast Buffet is served between 7.30am – 10am Monday – Friday and 8am – 10am on weekends and Bank Holidays in the Breakfast Room on the Ground Floor. Please advise the reception team if you have any allergies.

Cancelation Policy
For flexible reservations, if your plans change whilst you are staying with us, and wish to check out early, please provide notice to the reception team no later than 11am, 24 hours prior to the date you wish to check out to avoid an early departure fee.
Car Parkin
We do not have onsite parking at the hotel. Paid parking is available nearby. Limited short-term parking (up to a few hours) can be found on surrounding streets via pay-and-display meters or pay-by-phone services. For longer stays or overnight parking, we recommend NCP London Brunswick Square Car Park (5 min walk) or NCP London King’s Cross St Pancras (10 min walk), both within easy reach of the hotel.
Please note the hotel accepts no responsibility or liability for vehicles parked offsite. We advise guests not to leave valuables in their vehicles overnight.
Check Out
Check out time is by 11am. Should you wish to check out later than this, please contact reception who will advise if a late checkout is available, subject to an additional charge. Complimentary luggage storage is available with reception on the day of check out.
Coffee and Tea Making Facilities
Your bedroom is equipped with a Nespresso Coffee Machine and a Kettle for your enjoyment. Tea, coffee pods, milk and sugar can be found in the drawer underneath the machine. Should you require replenishments, please contact reception.
Credit Cards
The following credit cards are accepted in the Hotel: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Diners and American Express. Please note that Cheques, Travellers Cheques and Cash are not accepted. You can pay in GBP or your local currency when settling the bill.

If you do not wish to be disturbed, please make use of the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your bedroom door.

Emergency
In the event of an emergency, please contact reception or dial “999” for police, fire or ambulance.
Eurostar
The Eurostar Terminal is very close by and is located at St Pancras International Station. This can be easily reached by a short walk from the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage then a taxi might be more convenient.

Fire
Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the nearest fire exit. All our guest rooms and public areas are equipped with smoke detectors. In the case of fire, dial “0” or the reception speed dial and give the location. Further instructions on what to do in the case of a fire are given on the back of your bedroom door. The evacuation point is located across the street from the hotel entrance inside Cartwright Gardens.
Foreign Currency
The nearest place to change foreign currency is No1 Currency Exchange at King’s Cross St Pancras Station, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Conveniently located inside the station, it offers currency exchange and international money transfer services.

A hairdryer is provided for your use during your stay, this can be found in your wardrobe.

Housekeeping
Rooms are cleaned daily for your comfort between 10.30am – 3pm. Should you wish your room to be cleaned at a particular time, please contact reception. Should you not require your room cleaned, please put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door, or contact reception. Everyday millions of gallons of water are used in hotels to wash towels that have only been used once. Please hang up your towels if you’d like to reuse them; towels left on the floor will be replaced.

We are spoilt for choice with wonderful parks nearby for running. Hyde Park, just minutes away offers excellent paths.

Museums
There are superb museums to visit whilst you are in London. For example, The Science Museum, The National History Museum and The Victoria and Albert Museum are three museums all next to each other in South Kensington. Pharmacy
The nearest pharmacy is Boots, located at 40-42 Brunswick Centre, just a 6-minute walk from the hotel. This branch offers prescriptions, health essentials, beauty products, and travel items.
Pubs
No visit to England is complete without a trip to the Pub! There are plenty of options nearby.
Our recommendations can be found under the “Dining” Section.
Public Transport
The closest station is Russell Square Underground Station, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. This station provides direct access to the Piccadilly Line, with easy connections across London, including Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Heathrow Airport.
For wider connections, King’s Cross St Pancras and Euston Station are both within a 10-minute walk, offering access to multiple Underground lines as well as national and international rail services.We recommend downloading the app “City Mapper” to plan the best routes to explore London.

As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, we kindly ask guests to use the green section of the bedroom bin for recycling items such as paper, plastic, glass and cans.

Room Service
Should you wish to order food or drinks to your room, we recommend scanning the QR code on the menu in the bedroom with our partner “Papyon” for a wide range of options delivered to your door.

Safety Deposit Box
Your room is equipped with a laptop sized personal safe in the wardrobe. Please ensure all your valuables are stored here. Instructions to use the safe are printed on the safe door. Should you have any difficulties or forget your code, please contact reception. Your attention is, however, respectfully drawn to the notice at Reception limiting our liability under the Hotel Proprietor’s Act of 1956.

We have a few items like soft drinks and snacks available for purchase at reception, along with our luxury toiletries from Arran.
Smoking
The entire hotel is non-smoking, and it is illegal to smoke indoors. A cleaning fine of £250 will be applied should you smoke inside.
